ATTENTION!
Platinum’s download is one file only included either the low level and the application software. Once loaded the platinum software into the plotter, it is not possible to upgrade it back to the Gold software.

Instructions to download
:: click on the product (a window opens “download file” )
:: select “save on disk” and click Ok

Installing software on Compact Flash
:: the file downloaded must not be unzipped, but only copied as it has been downloaded (extension .TAR.GZ)

Warning!
:: Do not use a CF already programmed by Navionics with all cartography files inside, but use a CF of 32 Mb (64Mb for G4C XS) where no other files are present in the main directory ( es. E:/) of the CF.

To proceed the download, follow the next steps
:: copy files into the root directory of the CF.
:: Insert the CF into the plotter and switch it on.
:: Follow the instructions given on the screen.
:: At the end of the update procedure, the plotter will start automatically with the standard modus. Remove the CF used for the update and insert the CF with Navionics Platinum cartography.

Important!
Plotters updated to Platinum software can keep on reading CF with Gold cartography.
